Jean-Paul Vermeulen is a Belgian citizen, born in South Africa and grew up in Rwanda, where he became rapidly passionate for wildlife and photography. He discovered Gorongosa in the late nineties and has since regularly visited the region. With an artist's eye for design and colour he has captured the unique moods of Gorongosa and portraits of the wildlife that abounds in this richly diverse and unique Africa wilderness. He also wrote "o Jardim do Índico", his first publication.
