Minister of Fisheries of Angola visits Gorongosa National Park

On March 8-9, 2008, Gorongosa National Park had another important visitor: the Minister of Fisheries of Angola, Salomão Xirimbimbi. With him came a delegation composed of senior staff from his ministry as well as several business people from Angola.

Since the delegation from Angola was in Beira for an official ceremony, they took the opportunity to visit the jewel of the natural beauties of Mozambique, in spite of it being the middle of the rainy season!

It was an excellent decision since the weather decided to cooperate, and Gorongosa National Park provided excellent lodging conditions at Chitengo Safari Camp and the opportunity to enjoy some of the wildlife and unique landscapes that brought fame to this Mozambican Park.
