During the 1st week of July, the Coordinator Council Meeting of the Ministry of Tourism of Mozambique, was held at Gorongosa National Park with the presence of more than 100 participants, including the Minister, the Vice-Minister of Tourism and the Permanent Secretary of MITUR.
This Coordinator Council is held every year and the fact that this year it took place at Gorongosa National Park took in account the excellent location and the new accommodation facilities of the Park.
The last day of the Council coincided with the closing of the 38th Conservation Areas Scouts Training Course, the ceremony was presided by the Vice-Minister of Tourism and by the Gorongosa National Park Administrator.
Gorongosa National Park provided to all participants excellent lodging and working conditions as well as the opportunity to enjoy and see, during the working sessions breaks, some of the wildlife species surrounded by unique landscapes that made this Mozambican Park so famous.
