Curiously, the grandfather of Sérgio Henriques Coimbra was the first Warden of what was then (1935) known as  the Gorongosa Reserve, as you can read here:  


To be noted also that the famous Lion House, one of the most famous features of Gorongosa, was built while José Henriques Coimbra was the Warden of the Gorongosa Reserve.
