Africa’s Lost Eden Awards and Festival Appearances

Gorongosa Restoration Project is excited to announce that National Geographic's film on Gorongosa Park, "Africa' s Lost Eden," was considered one of the best films of 2010 by the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), at a recent event that took place in Vienna (Austria).

"Africa's Lost Eden" has also won the Gold Dolphin Award for the Environmental and Ecology category in France at the Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards.

Since the film premiered in Washington DC, last April, it has been awarded at Film Festivals in Germany (Grand Prix), US, Canada, Brazil, Portugal (Grand Prix), Romania, Latvia (Grand Prix), Ireland, Serbia (Grand Prix), South Africa, France and Austria.

It also has won four other Awards including Best Conservation & Environmental Issue at the International Wildlife Film Festival in Montana.
