The best way for you to help the restore Gorongosa National Park is to make a tax-deductible donation to one of our projects. Select a project below to learn more.

nullHelp Replant Trees

Mount Gorongosa is quickly losing its forest, and the entire ecosystem is in jeopardy. We are working quickly on a solution, and you can help. We are training local community members to grow and manage saplings in small nurseries in their communities. A donation will go directly to pay a tree planter’s salary. Help make a difference.

nullBuild a School

We are helping local communities build better schools, develop curricula which include conservation topics, and hire and train qualified teachers.  We recently helped the community of Vinho build its new school. We want to help build 100 schools in the communities surrounding the Park. You can help make this happen.

nullAdopt an Animal

Before Mozambique’s wars, Gorongosa National Park was home to what many considered to be the densest wildlife populations in Southern Africa. Years of poaching greatly reduced the numbers of herbivores, and the Park needs more animals to maintain the vast grasslands in the Rift Valley. We are reintroducing elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and buffalos to help the entire ecosystem. You can help us revive the Park.
